She haunts the Old Faithful Inn – specifically, the “Crows Nest” – the lookout on the top of the building that is straight off of a set for “haunted old hotel.” If you Google “what does a haunted hotel look like” this is the first damn result, guaranteed.

The bride is said to be the ghost of a wealthy young woman who defied her parents and married a servant in their household. Her father warned her not to marry the man, that he was a grifter after family money. They spent their honeymoon in Yellowstone at the Old Faithful Inn, but by the time they got there he had gambled all of their money away. They fought, he demanded that she wire home for more funds; she refused. Staff heard them yelling and saw him leave the hotel room in a huff, placing the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door.

Days later, a maid entered the room to find the woman beheaded, lying in a pool of blood in the bathroom. The groom had taken off and was never seen again. Now the departed bride is seen roaming the hallways of the hotel CARRYING HER HEAD AROUND IN HER ARM LIKE A BOWLING BALL.
